Audience feedback

Promotion

I've made a poster for our film opening that I used to promote our project on social networking websites like Facebook for the audience feedback. There is another poster made by another member of the group for promotion. 

After we uploaded these on Facebook the audience responded according to how we were expecting them to, they showed curiosity that who the person in the poster was and who was being kidnapped and why. 

 

Sound editing

For the sound we fixed the audio using audacity removing the noise, added additional gain, equalization and leveling. Also we used Additional Dialogue Recording (ADR), first was for the person in the office who informs the detective that "the car has been spotted" and second was for the detective's daughter who calls him for help, saying "DADDY".

Editing Continues

Editing further to improve our final product we did some colour corrections of our film opening. Also increased the duration of focus on the picture frame to give a hint of the story and the production name so it can be registered. We also used different fade ins and outs and dissolve to move from scene to scene and show small passage of time. Moreover, we also used a mini montage for the father-daughter flashback of memories and did its color treatment so that it looks and can be identified as a flashback.

Editing

After the compilation we started editing our film opening on Adobe Premier CS6. We started with the titling first. We used linear wipes, position keyframes and opacity keyframes in all onscreen titles.
